Delaware

Classes will be cancelled when the Community College is closed. However, when the college has a delayed opening, Long & Foster Institute will open on time. Instructor will advise regarding Saturday and/or evening classes.

District of Columbia

Long & Foster Institute cancellations are dependent upon UDC closings. Day classes will be canceled when UDC is closed. However, if UDC has a delayed opening, Long & Foster Institute will open on time. For evening classes, if UDC closes, evening classes will be cancelled.

Maryland

Long & Foster Institute classes are cancelled or delayed according to the schedule of the community college in the county in which the class is located. A day class will be cancelled when the nearby Community College is closed, however, if the nearby Community College opens late, Long & Foster Institute will open on time. For evening classes, if community colleges in that area are closed, evening classes will be cancelled.

Virginia

Northern Virginia Area Classes

Long & Foster Institute classes are cancelled or delayed according to the schedule of the community college in the county in which the class is located. A day class will be cancelled when the nearby community college is closed, however, if the nearby community college opens late, Long & Foster Institute will open on time. For evening classes, if community colleges in that area are closed, evening classes will be cancelled.

Richmond, Virginia Area Classes

If we experience inclement weather during your class dates, a decision to close the evening class will be made by 3pm. A decision for the day class will be made by 7:30am. Call the Long & Foster Institute at 804-822-3208 to hear a recorded message regarding your class. If there is no message about delayed openings or closings, then classes will be held as scheduled.

Roanoke, Virginia Area Classes

If we experience inclement weather during your class dates, a decision to close the evening class will be made by 3 p.m. A decision for the day class will be made by 7:30 a.m. Call the Long & Foster Institute at 540-772-6985 to hear a recorded message regarding your class. If there is no message about delayed openings or closings, then classes will be held as scheduled.

Hampton Roads Area Classes

If we experience inclement weather during your class dates, a decision to close the evening class will be made by 3pm. A decision for the day class will be made by 7:30am.
